He married CATHERINE ELIZABETH CAMPBELL on August of 1771 in Orange County, North Carolina, daughter of LAUGHLIN CAMPBELL and MARY McFARLAND. She was born Abt. 1750 in Orange County, North Carolina, died Abt. 1824 in North Carolina. William Marley was a private in the American Revolution, he served in Lytles Company, 10th Regiment of the North Carolina Line. He was the ninth person to sign the Regulator Movement in 1768.      JESSE MARLEYł (Alexander˛, Williamš)  was born August 21, 1813 in North Carolina, and died April 19, 1887 in Indiana. He is burried in Music Cemetery - Summitville, Madison County, Indiana. He married NANCY MANN in 1837. She was born November 29, 1818 in Chatham County, North Carolina, and died October 24, 1902. She is burried in Music Cemetery - Summitville, Madison County, Indiana. Jesse married (2) MARY RICH on September 6, 1874 in Marion, Grant County, Indiana, daughter of JOSEPH RICH and MIRIAM NEWBY.  She was born October 15, 1838 in Marion, Grant County, Indiana, and died May 13, 1916 in Marion, Grant County, Indiana.  James and Mary had no children.  James and Harriet's children were:

He is burried in Park Cemetery - Fairmount, Grant County, Indiana.  He married (1) IDA L. FRIEND March 17, 1892 in Marion, Grant County, Indiana, daughter of MATHIAS S. FRIEND.  She was born October 22, 1871 in Marion, Grant County, Indiana, and died March 10, 1946 in Fairmount, Grant County, Indiana.  She is burried in Park Cemetery - Fairmount, Grant County, Indiana.  Iredell married (2) ELIZABETH CLARA RASMUSSEN May 22, 1916, daughter of RASMUS JENSEN RASMUSSEN and ANNA HANSEN.  She was born April 9, 1878 in Mink Creek, Franklin County, Idaho, and died November 10, 1930 in Vale, Malheur County, Oregon of Pneumonia.
